Ivey's First Christmas

We started our celebration with the Children's church service on Christmas Eve. Nana, Grandad, Gramma, Jamie, Roger, Philip & Natalie joined us too. Christmas morning was fun with Ivey! Joe and I both went in to get her and then we showed her what Santa had left for her. After breakfast, we all three opened our gifts. Ivey was playing with her toys and we had trouble getting her focused, but once the paper started ripping she was very interested.  We headed to Gramma & Grandad's for a late lunch and more celebrating. Ivey had a blast!

Ivey's First Taste of Christmas

Ivey had a Christmas party at daycare a couple weeks before Christmas. Then, Monday before Christmas, Gammie, Aunt Holly, Uncle Ken & Anne came to our house to celebrate early. Anne and Ivey went to visit Santa Claus, but both decided he was just too scary. Ivey definitely liked the wrapping paper, ribbon and boxes best.  

Ivey is exploring her world alot these days, making messes everywhere she goes.

Ivey's First Thanksgiving

Ivey was a little under the weather during our Thanksgiving celebrations with family. We traveled to Charleston early Thanksgiving morning to celebrate with Gammie. Then on to Crescent Beach to celebrate with Gramma, Grandad, Aunt Allison, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Roger, Nana, Philip, Val, Natalie, Jackson, Adam & Sarah. She wasn't too happy about the long car rides. Our little explorer doesn't like to sit still much less be strapped into a seat.
