Christmas 2014 - in Charleston

We headed to Charleston after Julia's doctor visit the morning after Christmas. We had a fun visit with Holly, Ken, Gammie and sweet cousins, Anne & Margaret. The weather was warm and nice enough to enjoy some time outside. Julia's antibiotics kicked in quickly and she was back to her normal happy self!

Christmas 2014 in Charlotte

We celebrated Christmas with Emily's family at our house on the 24th. It was rainy and warm. We had our traditional Christmas breakfast, but Joe smoked a pork shoulder for lunch. Julia was not feeling well and ended up with a double ear infection the day after Christmas on her third doctor visit of the week. We had a nice and lazy Christmas Day at home.

Holiday Activities 2014

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Aunt Jamie's and headed to the mountain house that evening for a long weekend. It was snowing! It warmed up a lot over the weekend and we stopped to find our Christmas tree on the way home. The warm weather after the snow made for a very muddy Christmas tree field! Too bad we forgot to bring the camera along! Our tree was less than perfect and ended up being way too tall. We had to cut the bottom and the top to get it to fit in our house!

Our attempt at a family photo before church - someone was not cooperating!

Apparently this was Silly Naked Dance Day for the girls

Lots of decorations really helped this poor tree actually look half decent

Breakfast with Santa! Julia was not a fan

Our neighbor Conner was not very excited to see Santa either
