Ivey is a month old & growing like a weed

Gramma and Grandad came over so Dad & Mom could go out for a belated Valentines date (so they said), but I think they just wanted an excuse to see me.

My cousin Anne previewed my huge stash of books.

Aunt Holly, Uncle Ken & my big Cousin Anne came for a visit.

Mom & I love walking through the neighborhood park.

I wore my Daddy out.

This fancy swaddling blanket was no match for the Amazing Hudini

Tummy Time wears me out.

Shhh...it's time for Mommy & Me to take a nap.

Ivey's 2nd week of life and first real outing

We were able to take some walks around the neighborhood this week once the weather decided to warm up a little. Ivey loves her car seat and Bob stroller. It's much smoother than the Snap n' Go stroller - her cheeks don't jiggle on rides over the bridges in the parks! We had our real first outing this morning to stamp club (previous outings were just to see the doctor). She did great! She slept until time for her bottle at 8:30, giving me time to get showered and ready to go. She slept in the car both ways and only fussed a little while we were there which gave Tracy an excuse to hold her! We got home just in time to eat again. It was fun, but it made me extra tired! She's sleeping more at night which isn't allowing Daddy to feed her before he leaves for work which is making for a more tired Mommy. Daddy has to be out of town for the first time tonight. Glad Gramma and Grandad are coming tomorrow so I can get a long nap in!

Getting ready for my first real bath after my umbilical cord fell off

I'm not sure about this monkey

I like to be on my stomach!

Mommy's friend Wendy came to visit me!

I'm even cute when I'm mad!

Bundled up for my stroller ride!

Ivey's first week at home

Ivey has had a busy first week at home. She's had lots of visitors including Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Allison, Gammie, The Clark Family, Gramma & Grandad and Aunt Jamie, Natalie & Nana. She had her first bath with help from Aunt Allison. She had her first outing to her first pediatrician's visit. She seems to have learned her days from her nights (hopefully). Grandad has nicknamed her Squeaky because she does tend to squeak occasionally. Actually, she makes lots of noises - some that seem too big for such a little girl. She is so sweet and content most of the time. We think we'll keep her!
I like tummy time!

Holding my head up for a big yawn!

Hanging out on my boppy in my favorite snowman outfit!

Ivey Elizabeth Piacentino is born!

Ivey Elizabeth Piacentino was born on Wednesday January 26, 2011 at 1:38 PM weighing 7 pounds 3 ounces, measuring 19 1/2 inches.  We had been at the hospital since Monday morning, so Mom & Dad were tired (especially Mom) but thrilled to finally welcome Ivey into the world on Wednesday.

Not a big fan of her first bath.

Can we go home yet?

Home Sweet Home!

I have had lots of visitors since coming home.

Until next time, sweet dreams.
